RBL Abingdon Rifle Club

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England

RBL Abingdon Rifle Club is now closed.  The Club first opened c1940 and closed its doors for the last time in 2020.

Most Club Members lived in and around Abingdon in Oxfordshire and competed as part of teams in various Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Berkshire indoor and outdoor leagues. Some members also competed at County and National level. During the summer months we used our own outdoor 50 metre and 100 yard range located just outside Abingdon. With the closure of the Club, that range is now operated and maintained by Harwell TSC. The Club never had its own indoor range, so during the winter season Club Members would shoot at the City of Oxford Rifle Range, which is a 25 yard indoor range located on the outskirts of Oxford.

The Club maintains an online archive of results dating back to the year 2000.
